Read the following Case Study. How is Yoshi making his decision? Is he looking at the important factors? Is he making a decision that will help him to fulfill his long-term goals? Read the following and then answer the questions below.

Yoshi focused on selecting a college following graduation from high school. He had only two choices, as he saw it. Both were regional universities in his home state, one closer to home and less expensive than the other. Yoshi's parents seemed to assume that he would attend the college closer to home, but he wanted the wider range of options offered by the more distant institution. The second university offered the field he planned to enter. He preferred that campus' physical appearance. The cost difference wasn't great. Thus in his mind, the choice seemed clear. Several relatives expressed surprise that he would consider any campus other than the one nearest home. After considering both options carefully, Yoshi decided to attend the university farther away from home.
