Unit Project

Complete all of the steps and send it to your teacher. Your teacher will enter your grade in the grade report.

Choose a job goal

A. Find six job leads, including three from Internet sources and three from other sources. Explain how you found them and where. Write a paragraph about why these leads fit your job goal. (10 points)  There were a lot of places that had chairs available. The internet is not a very great source on finding jobs for hair stylists.

B. Using one of the jobs leads you selected in Part A above, tailor your resume for that ad. If you want to e-mail a resume created in a word processing document to your teacher, do that. Otherwise type your resume below.(20 points)

Write a paragraph explaining why you chose the resume format you did. (5 points) It was the most efficient. My format was the most easy to comprehend and understand.

C. Again using one of the job leads in Part A, tailor a cover letter to send with your resume. You may create the letter in a word processing document and e-mail it as an attachment to your teacher, or use the space below. (30 points)
