So far, you have completed the Activities, Competencies, and Occupations assessments of the Self-Directed Search. The five interests, skills, and occupations you selected will be used in The Masterpiece activity at the end of this Lesson. However, you will need to complete the remaining assessments in the Assessment Booklet in order to complete the entire Self-Directed Search.

You are REQUIRED to:

  • Complete the remaining SELF-ESTIMATES assessment on page 9. Follow the instructions given.
  • When you are finished with the SELF-ESTIMATES assessment, continue on to page 10 and complete the HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR ANSWERS activity. Follow the instructions given.

Go to the ASSESSMENT BOOKLET and complete the SELF-ESTIMATES assessment on page 9 and continue with the
HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR ANSWERS activity
on page 10 NOW.

 

Once you have determined your Summary Code on p. 10, jot down your 3 letter code. You will re-visit this code in Later in your career planning studies.

You are not required to complete the What Your Summary Code Means on page 11 of your Assessment Booklet at this time. You will be doing an online activity similar to this one in Unit 2 of this course.
