It is important to look at yourself in relationship to your family and friends, likes, dislikes, and values. What you can gain from this approach is an initial sketch of your self-portrait. You may discover that some of the experiences and events from your childhood provide valuable clues to the choices that led you to where you are now. In turn, the events and experiences you are living now will be the basis on which you make decisions as an adult.

Complete the 12 sentences as shown in the example. Write the first thing that comes into your head in the spaces provided. Do not spend a lot of time on this activity; it should take no longer than 15 minutes. Copy and paste this assignment onto a Word document before you complete it.  Remember to use the “Track Changes” tool.
